A task force from the Civil Defense Forces discovered Cornet missiles in the industrial area of Khartoum Bahri. These missiles were previously used by terrorist militias to target residential neighborhoods, endangering civilians before Bahri was liberated.
According to Police Colonel Abdel Rahman Mohamed Hassan, head of the field team, they continued their efforts and located the missiles, which were then handed over to the relevant authorities for security handling. He added that the team remains committed to securing Bahri by clearing unexploded ordnance to allow residents to return safely to their homes.
