Jaber Receives the Crop Estimates and Food Security Mission Report in Sudan

On Tuesday, Transitional Sovereignty Council member and Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, received the Crop Estimates and Food Security Mission report for Sudan, which was prepared by several organizations.

This came during his meeting in his office with the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Engineer Abu Bakr Omar Al-Bushra. In a press statement, the minister stated that the report contains many promising indicators, highlighting the high productivity of the previous season. He announced that a press conference would be held in the coming days to present the report and its positive findings. The report indicates that Sudan has achieved self-sufficiency in all crops. He emphasized that this report is the result of efforts by organizations and technical teams from the Ministries of Agriculture, Forestry, and Animal Resources, as well as planning departments.
