The auction manager at the Al-Nuhud Crop Exchange, Radi Ali Baraka, revealed a decline in the prices of some crops on Tuesday.
The price of a ton of shelled peanuts dropped from 1,230,000 SDG to 1,200,000 SDG in cash transactions and from 1,350,000 SDG to 1,300,000 SDG via electronic payment.
Meanwhile, the price of a quintal of unshelled peanuts remained stable at 40,000 SDG in cash and 43,000 SDG via electronic payment. Arabic gum recorded a slight decrease, with the price per quintal falling from 220,000 SDG to 215,000 SDG in cash transactions and from 240,000 SDG to 235,000 SDG via electronic payment.
