Inflation Rate Declines

The inflation rate for February showed a decline, standing at 142.34% compared to 145.14% in January.

The inflation rate for February 2025 showed an increase compared to February 2024.

The inflation rate for the food and beverages group in February 2025 reached 128.45%, compared to 139.46% in January, representing the highest rate in overall inflation. The inflation rate for imported goods in February was 108.92%, compared to 116.22% in January.

The highest annual inflation rate among the states was recorded in the River Nile state, at 321.36%, while the Red Sea state recorded the lowest inflation rate at 44.48%.
