Sudan Events – Reports
The Khartoum Emergency Room revealed on Monday that 50 civilians, including 10 volunteers, were killed and 82 others were arrested within one week by the RSF and allied militias.
In a statement, the Emergency Room reported that “the past week witnessed the killing of 50 citizens, including at least 10 volunteers, and the abduction and arrest of 70 civilians, in addition to 12 volunteers.”
The report also mentioned cases of rape, though the exact number could not be verified due to social stigma and fear of reporting.
The statement highlighted widespread abuses by the RSF and allied militias in Khartoum neighborhoods, targeting unarmed civilians.
It noted that Khartoum residents face severe restrictions on movement, limiting access to food and water, while communal kitchens have been looted and terrorized.
The report described a deteriorating health and environmental situation due to the spread of disease, lack of medicine, and the closure of clinics and hospitals. It also mentioned that volunteer health workers were being targeted.
The Emergency Room stated that documenting violations remains difficult due to communication blackouts and the irregular availability of Starlink satellite internet.
It condemned the abuses against civilians and volunteers, calling for an immediate end to the violations.
