Zelensky: Putin “Practically Rejected” U.S. Proposal for a Full Ceasefire

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday night of “practically rejecting” a U.S. proposal for a complete ceasefire after Russian missile strikes targeted Ukrainian civilian facilities, including a hospital.

“Unfortunately, there were strikes, specifically on civilian infrastructure,” Zelensky said on X. “One of them was a hospital in the city of Sumy. Today, Putin practically rejected the proposal for a full ceasefire,” he added, referring to a phone call that took place hours earlier between Trump and Putin.
