Finance Minister Denies Selling Citizens’ Cars to Egyptian Company

Finance Minister Gibril Ibrahim has denied allegations that he sold damaged vehicles belonging to citizens to an Egyptian company or seized lands from investors to grant them to others. He dismissed these claims as part of an ongoing campaign of misinformation and fabrications.
In a statement, Gibril clarified that he has no authority to sell citizens’ vehicles or confiscate land. He further added, “I do not know of any company by the mentioned name, nor have I signed any contract to sell scrap to any entity.”
