The Khartoum State Security Committee, in its meeting on Thursday, chaired by Governor Ahmed Othman, condemned the militia’s targeting of civilians in residential neighborhoods, which has resulted in dozens of casualties.
The committee ordered a ban on mass gatherings, prayers in mosques, and group iftars to protect citizens’ lives.
The meeting also praised the security task force actively working to apprehend criminal gangs, troublemakers, and those collaborating with the militia.
To protect the Halfaya Bridge and ensure its safety following partial destruction by the militia in the past, the meeting directed that heavy trucks carrying large loads be prohibited from crossing.
