The Sudanese Teachers’ Committee has condemned the killing of Ibtisam Ali Ahmed, the principal of Al-Taqwa School in the Jabra neighborhood, southern Khartoum, following her arrest and torture by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
In a statement, the committee said, “She died as a result of being detained by the RSF. She was released in a severely deteriorated health condition before passing away due to torture and lack of medical care.”
The committee strongly denounced these violations, asserting that “such crimes must not go unpunished, as impunity has only encouraged further atrocities.”
