The General Intelligence Service issued a statement celebrating the liberation of the Republican Palace, describing it as the result of the army’s steadfastness, courage, and unwavering belief in the justice of their cause. The statement asserted that this victory sends a clear message to the world: Sudan cannot be defeated, its dignity is intact, and its sovereignty is non-negotiable.
The statement continued, “Today, the banner of truth has been raised high, falsehood has been shattered, and the deception of rebellion and treachery has been exposed. The nation’s flag now soars proudly, upheld by the sacrifices of our martyrs and the bravery of our heroes.”
The Intelligence Service extended its congratulations to the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, his deputies, the Chief of Staff and military leadership, as well as the heroic soldiers and supporting forces fighting for dignity and honor.
“With unwavering determination and firm belief in victory, we, the officers and soldiers of the General Intelligence Service, extend our highest congratulations on this great triumph—the liberation of the Republican Palace, the enduring symbol of Sudanese sovereignty,” the statement read.
The statement concluded, “We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to remaining at the forefront of the battle, serving as both a decisive sword and an impenetrable shield until every last inch of Sudanese soil is cleansed of treachery and betrayal. There will be no retreat, no concessions, and no compromise on our nation’s sovereignty and security.”
