She highlighted that Siqa Group has covered a significant portion of the country’s flour needs and added that establishing new factories and branches in various states would help meet national demand.
In the same context, the Executive Director of DAL Food Group, Aref Najm Al-Din, stated that since last year, Siqa has been working to increase its production capacity of milled flour from 1,500 tons per day to 2,000 tons.
He noted that increasing the total production capacity of each factory from 750 tons per day to 1,000 tons has raised the overall production of the mills to 2,000 tons daily. He explained that the new additional production lines would help bridge the country’s flour gap, meet the needs of all states, and support export efforts.
