Qatar Red Crescent Distributes Food Baskets to Displaced People in Al-Qadarif

On Saturday, the Governor of Al-Qadarif, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Hassan, launched the Ramadan food basket initiative of the Sudanese Red Crescent, supported by the Qatar Red Crescent, benefiting 1,300 displaced people.
During the food basket distribution (Iftar for the fasting), the governor praised the Qatar Red Crescent for its significant and continued role in providing support and relief throughout the war.
He also commended the Sudanese Red Crescent for efficiently overseeing the distribution process.
Ali Mohammed Ahmed, the Director of the Sudanese Red Crescent in the state, stated that this initiative is part of an ongoing series of food basket distributions by the organization.
He emphasized that the Iftar program is supported by the Qatar Red Crescent, continuing its sustained efforts to provide assistance. The food baskets include a variety of essential food items.
