Second Phase of Institutional Transformation Project at the Ministry of Energy and Oil Begins

On Saturday, the Ministry of Energy and Oil launched the second phase of the Institutional Transformation Project aimed at enhancing performance and efficiency in the oil sector.
Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohi El-Din Naeem Mohammed Said, described institutional transformation as a comprehensive change process designed to improve performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
He emphasized the need to align operations with global standards and to establish a unified vision and precise policies for the sector. The oil and electricity industries are large and costly, and their operations must align with national strategies.
Engineer Montasir Saleh, Director-General of the Quality Department, highlighted the importance of this phase in upgrading the sector. He explained that institutional transformation involves organizational structure, corporate culture, work systems, quality management (QMS), IT, employee training, and strategic planning.
National expert Engineer Magdy Ali Khairi gave a visual presentation on the Institutional Transformation Project, emphasizing its goal of enhancing management, quality, and efficiency to make Sudan’s oil sector a leader in the post-war economy.
