The Security Committee of Shendi Locality, chaired by Khalid Abdel-Gafar, issued a decision banning Eid prayers in public squares and fields and prohibiting gatherings. Eid prayers and its rituals will be performed in mosques within neighborhoods.
The head of the security committee confirmed that the committee had taken a number of decisions and directives to maintain the security and safety of citizens. He stated that this step is part of precautionary measures to secure markets and the lives of citizens.
