Foreign Currency Prices in Sudan Remain High

Foreign currency exchange rates against the Sudanese pound have held onto the recent increases with no significant changes.

Traders in the parallel market reported that the dollar remained stable at SDG 2,679 on Monday. The Saudi riyal held at SDG 714.4, the UAE dirham at SDG 729.972, the euro at SDG 2,911.95, and the British pound at SDG 3,479.22. Meanwhile, the Egyptian pound remained at SDG 52.95, the Bahraini dinar at SDG 7,050, the Qatari riyal at SDG 733.972, the Omani riyal at SDG 7,050, and the Kuwaiti dinar at SDG 8,641.93.
