Minister of Culture and Information Khalid Al-Ieiser sent a message to the residents of villages, towns, and areas still under the control of the Rapid Support Forces, particularly in Kordofan and Darfur, affirming that the army is on its way.
Al-Ieiser addressed the residents through a Facebook post, saying:
“I advise you… do not follow the agendas of the Daghlo family and the war profiteers, including politicians and mercenaries who have crossed Sudan’s borders to destroy and loot your country.”
He added, “Benefit from the speech of the Chairman of the Sovereign Council on the occasion of Eid. Lay down your arms, for this is a losing battle by all religious and moral accounts. The only result is that it violates all laws and religions, destroys your cities and villages, weakens the future of your children, and will achieve nothing but destruction, death, and sins condemned by all religions.”
