The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) – Sudan Office expressed solidarity with the millions of displaced families in the country who were unable to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in their homes due to displacement.
In a tweet on its official X account, UNHCR reaffirmed its support for these families’ resilience and their hope for peace. The agency stated:
“This Eid, millions of families in Sudan remain displaced, unable to celebrate in the warmth of their homes. We stand in solidarity with them, honoring their resilience and hope for peace.”
