Sudanese Embassy in Chad Receives Looted Vehicles

The efforts of the Sudanese mission in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, were successful on Tuesday, as they received the first batch of looted Sudanese vehicles. These vehicles had been taken by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and mercenaries allied with them. The handover followed continuous efforts led by the chargé d’affaires of the Sudanese embassy, in coordination with Sudanese Interpol on one side, and the Chadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and police on the other.

The acting chargé d’affaires, Abdullah Abkar Saleh, officially received the first batch of looted vehicles, which had been held at the Interpol office in N’Djamena. According to information obtained by Al-Muhaqqiq, the recovered vehicles in this batch are four-wheel-drive models from Toyota, including Land Cruiser, Prado, and Hilux.

Reports indicate that communication between the acting chargé d’affaires and international parties, as well as relevant authorities in the Chadian government, will continue to locate and recover more stolen vehicles taken by militia gangs. Meanwhile, Chadian police operations to seize Sudanese vehicles for their return through the embassy remain ongoing.
