“Ligue 1: Marseille Snatches Second Place”

Marseille seized second place from Monaco after defeating their guest Toulouse 3-2 in the 28th round of the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Marseille raised their tally to 52 points in second place, two points ahead of Monaco, who lost to Brest 2-1 in the same round.
This win marked Marseille’s first victory after a run of three defeats, allowing them to regain momentum in the race for second place, after Paris Saint-Germain secured the title with a 1-0 win over Angers on Saturday.
Strasbourg claimed fourth place, which qualifies for the UEFA Champions League, by beating hosts Reims 1-0.
