A unit from the 4th Battalion of the Central Reserve Forces, part of the “Martyr Police Lieutenant General Omar Hamouda” task force, seized a sophisticated drone system with all its components and complete jamming devices west of Omdurman.
According to Police Major General Kamal Al-Din Mohamed Othman, the task force supervisor, as quoted by the “Police Press Office,” the operation was based on intelligence indicating the presence of an advanced drone system and jamming equipment in the home of a commander of the rebel terrorist militia west of Omdurman. He added, “Based on this information, a combat unit from the special forces, led by a police captain, raided the house and seized the drones and jamming devices, which have an effective range of up to 20 kilometers. The militia members fled the scene during the raid.”
For his part, Police Major General Qamar Ahmed Mohamed Al-Sayed, Commander of the Central Reserve Forces, praised the achievement and commended all forces participating in the “Dignity Battle” across the operational fronts. He reaffirmed the Central Reserve Forces’ continued support for the armed forces and their allied units until the country is cleansed of the rebel militias, stressing their commitment to national security and stability.
