Major General Ahmed Baraka Allah of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia was killed on Saturday after sustaining gunshot wounds during clashes between the militia and unruly armed men in the city of Nyala. The incident also claimed the lives of several civilians.
Sources told “Darfur24” that an RSF unit led by Major General Ahmed Baraka Allah engaged in a gunfight with armed men at the Nyala public market, as part of a campaign to combat negative phenomena.
The sources indicated that Major General Ahmed Baraka Allah was wounded during the clashes and died from his injuries before he could be taken to the hospital. Several of the armed assailants were also killed.
