The Sudanese Armed Forces announced on Tuesday that they had made significant progress in areas of western Omdurman in Khartoum State.
Official spokesperson for the armed forces, Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, stated:
“As a continuation of our sweeping successes in western Omdurman, today—by the grace and guidance of God—our forces managed to crush and destroy remnants of the Al-Dagalo militia in the areas of Al-Safwa, Al-Hilla Al-Jadida, Al-Sufeira village, and the Konan camp. The clearance of the remaining limited pockets in the area is ongoing.”
He added: “Our forces destroyed several enemy combat vehicles and eliminated dozens of their fighters, and they continue to pursue the fleeing remnants relentlessly.”
