Governor of Nile River State: The War Will End Only with the Expulsion of the Last Rebel

Shendi – Rehab Abdullah

The Governor of Nile River State, Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majid, offered his condolences for the martyr Mustafa Al-Hadi Al-Khidr Abdel-Majid, a member of the General Intelligence Service, who was martyred in the Battle of Dignity in Shendi, Square 12, last Wednesday in the Dar Al-Salam area in Omdurman after being targeted by a procession launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

During his condolences to the martyr’s family, the governor said that martyrs are more honored than all of us and that we must strive to follow in their footsteps. He emphasized that Sudan has been subjected to a treacherous act, which calls for all youth to be in the field and stand united as one.

The governor reiterated that the war is not only the fault of the Rapid Support Forces but also the involvement of countries, primarily the UAE (whom he referred to as “the Devil of the Arabs”), which has prolonged the war. He pointed out that the UAE has used its financial resources to destroy Sudan and aimed to control Sudan’s various resources, including agricultural land, the Red Sea coast, ports, gold, water, and more. The governor described this as a form of colonialism and acknowledged that without the blood of the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity, the country would have been lost.

He emphasized that the war will continue until the last rebel is expelled from the country. He called for supporting the armed forces, all regular forces, supporting forces, and popular resistance, announcing the start of the second phase of recruitment for popular resistance, continuing until the country is rid of these thugs. He noted that their practices demonstrate a lack of humanity, knowledge of the laws of war, and proper treatment of prisoners. He added, “These people are only to be dealt with by force until full victory is achieved and the thugs are expelled.”
