The spokesperson for the Joint Forces of the Armed Struggle Movements, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, revealed horrific atrocities committed and documented by the rebel militia in displacement camps around El Fasher.
According to the news site Al-Muhaqiq, Lieutenant Colonel Hussein said that through his monitoring of documented crimes posted on Janjaweed social media pages, gruesome videos were shared showing the extermination of unarmed civilians. In one such video, a militia member is seen openly executing elderly civilians while the person recording urges him, saying, “Kill them all, they are trash.”
The joint forces’ spokesperson affirmed that the purpose of the assault on Zamzam Camp was retaliation against the support base of the joint forces and the army, which had thwarted the largest conspiracy ever faced by the Sudanese state in both its ancient and modern history.
He disclosed that the raid on the camp was carried out under the direct supervision of the criminal Abdel Rahim Dagalo. He emphasized that these criminal and terrorist acts would change the course of the war in ways unimaginable even to the perpetrators and vowed that vengeance from the sons of the victims is inevitable.
