Raya: Arsenal Dreams of European Glory

David Raya, the goalkeeper of English football club Arsenal, said that his team can now dream of European glory, affirming that his teammates will do everything they can to achieve the club’s first-ever UEFA Champions League title.
According to the British news agency PA Media, Arsenal is just one match away from reaching the final, following their historic 2-1 victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabéu Stadium, a result that secured their place in the semifinals with an aggregate score of 5-1.
Arsenal will face Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals, with the first leg taking place at the Emirates Stadium on April 30, followed by the return leg at the Parc des Princes eight days later.
This is the first time Arsenal has reached the semifinals in 16 years. The club’s only previous appearance in the final was in 2006, when they lost 2-1 to Barcelona.
Speaking after the stunning win in Spain, Raya said: “We said we were here to make our own history—and that’s exactly what we did.”
He added: “The way we stepped onto the Bernabéu pitch, the way we played, the way we defended, the way we created chances—we silenced them. In the second half, they created chances and took the lead, but we took our chances and won the match. That’s credit to us.”
