The UN envoy to Sudan, Ramtane Lamamra, stated that the time has come to proceed with a political path that includes everyone, ends the conflict, and prevents further suffering of the people.
He added, according to “Al Jazeera,” that “civilians in Sudan are suffering from the repercussions of a horrific conflict, and there is no military solution to the crisis.”
In the same context, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the US Senate stated, “The suffering of the Sudanese people is severe, and both sides, along with their supporters, must end the war.”
