Minawi’s Movement Demands International Accountability for Abdel Rahim Dagalo Over “Zamzam” Attack

The Sudan Liberation Movement, led by Mini Arko Minawi, on Saturday called for the international prosecution of Abdel Rahim Dagalo, the deputy commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), for leading and carrying out the massacre that took place in Zamzam camp in North Darfur.
The movement’s spokesperson, Al-Sadiq Ali Al-Nour, said in a statement: “The appearance of Abdel Rahim Dagalo inside Zamzam camp for displaced persons confirms that he led and executed the massacre. Therefore, he must be brought to international justice along with those who participated in this heinous crime.”

Al-Nour welcomed the statement issued by members of the UN Security Council condemning RSF attacks on El Fasher and the Abu Shouk and Zamzam camps. He described it as a new blow to the RSF and its supporters.

Spokesperson Al-Nour also noted that the Security Council called for the accountability of the RSF, demanded the lifting of the siege on El Fasher, the cessation of hostilities, and accountability for attacks on civilians and the need to ensure their protection.
