Stability in Crop Prices

Crop prices in the Al-Nuhud commodities exchange in West Kordofan State witnessed relative stability, with noticeable price differences between cash and electronic payment methods, according to auction director Radi Ali Baraka.
Baraka stated that the price of a quintal of peanuts remained at SDG 37,000 when paid in cash, while it increased from SDG 39,000 to SDG 40,000 with electronic payment.
The price of a ton of shelled peanuts dropped to SDG 1,120,000 in cash, compared to a previous price of SDG 1,150,000, while its electronic payment price decreased to SDG 1,250,000 from SDG 1,270,000.
As for gum arabic, the quintal price stabilized at SDG 205,000 in cash, while it declined to SDG 220,000 electronically compared to SDG 223,000 the day before.
Meanwhile, prices of sesame, hibiscus, and watermelon seeds remained stable without change, with sesame priced at SDG 50,000 in cash and SDG 60,000 electronically.
