Sennar Governor Inspects Quantities of Improved Seeds at the Arab Seed Company Warehouses

The Governor of Sennar State and the Director General of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources in Sennar inspected the status of improved seeds and crops at the Sudanese Arab Company for Seed Production, as part of the state government’s commitment to the success of the agricultural season.

The governor checked on the quantities of seeds and crops stored in the company’s warehouses.

He praised the company’s readiness to provide the necessary seeds for the state to begin the current agricultural season.

On his part, the Director of the Arab Sudanese Seed Company Station, Al-Sadiq Ahmed Al-Mustafa, confirmed the company’s full readiness to supply all the improved seed varieties needed by the state.

Meanwhile, the station’s Assistant Director for Administration and Marketing, Mudathir Al-Mardi, stated that the company has secured significant quantities of improved seeds, pointing out that its services—within the framework of corporate social responsibility—benefit more than seven villages surrounding the company.

The governor also inspected the ongoing preparations in the company’s demonstration fields for producing seeds for the next season.
