
The Sudanese police have revealed that over 132,000 complaints have been filed by citizens since the outbreak of the war between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Police spokesperson Brigadier Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Tom told Ultra Sudan that Khartoum State Police received 132,000 complaints against the RSF, which had controlled large parts of the state.
He noted that 35,000 complaints were recorded at police stations, while 97,000 were filed through the electronic reporting platform.
Currently, 89 out of 98 police stations in Khartoum State are operational.
He added that the police forces are securing 250 government facilities, 147 diplomatic sites, and ambassadors’ residences, stressing that the number of deployed officers is sufficient to maintain security following the return of normalcy in the state.
