Revealed: RSF Captures Aid Workers from International Relief Organization

Sudan Events – Reports

The spokesperson for the Zamzam IDP camp, Mohamed Khamis Douda, stated that the RSF captured the remaining workers of the International Relief Organization as they were en route out of Sudan.

The spokesperson shared videos on his Facebook page showing RSF forces interrogating a group of individuals. In the videos, an RSF member claims that those detained are Sudanese army officers posing as aid organization workers.

In continuation of its series of violations, the Sudanese Doctors’ Network confirmed on Sunday that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) killed 31 people, including children, in the Salha neighborhood, south of Omdurman city, west of the capital Khartoum.

In a statement, the medical committee reported that “the RSF committed a mass slaughter by carrying out the field execution of 31 residents of Salha neighborhood, including minors, in the largest documented mass killing witnessed in the area, accusing them of affiliation with the army.”

Activists circulated videos on social media showing individuals wearing RSF uniforms firing at a group of people in a public street in the Salha neighborhood, south of Omdurman, according to an Anadolu Agency correspondent.

The network expressed its deep regret over the mass killings of unarmed civilians in areas under RSF control, warning that “thousands of defenseless civilians in Salha neighborhood are at risk.”

The statement added: “The network considers this mass execution a war crime and a crime against humanity.”

The network also called on the international community “to act urgently to save the remaining civilians and to open safe corridors to ensure their evacuation from Salha neighborhood, which houses thousands of defenseless civilians.”

It further urged the international community “to pressure the RSF leadership to halt crimes and violations against civilians under their control and to protect their lives.”
