Minister of Labor: Roadmap for Advancing Civil Service in Sudan

Acting Minister of Labor Ahmed Ali Abdulrahman announced the completion of all technical and administrative preparations for the convening of the Civil Service Conference in Sudan this April.
In a press conference at the SUNA platform in Port Sudan, he stated that the conference will include the participation of several Arab, international, and regional labor organizations, along with experts and relevant authorities.
The conference aims to develop a comprehensive plan that serves as a roadmap for advancing civil service by assessing, evaluating, and improving performance, enhancing the efficiency of state employees, and creating an attractive work environment that contributes to achieving the goals of renaissance and sustainable development, as well as the reconstruction of Sudan.
The conference will also offer a detailed definition of civil service and the stages of its development, highlighting its vital role in addressing the concerns and responsibilities of employees and ensuring the performance of their duties.
He confirmed that all state governors and civil service personnel from across Sudan will participate.
The conference will discuss specialized working papers covering labor policies, training and employment, the impact of digital technology on the development of civil service, among other topics.
It is noteworthy that the conference will be held at Al-Rabwa Hall in Port Sudan under the slogan “Effective and Sustainable Civil Service,” under the patronage of the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the honor of the Deputy Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar.
