
The Federal Emergency Operations Center, in its regular meeting on Tuesday, reviewed the health situation in the country and the interventions implemented by various departments.
The Surveillance and Information Report confirmed the registration of 498 cholera cases during the past week, most of them in Khartoum State, bringing the total number of cases across Sudan to 60,228, including 1,617 deaths, spread over 88 localities in 12 states. Additionally, 127 cases of dengue fever were recorded, raising the total to 11,893 cases in 12 states, including 20 deaths. The report also noted 132 cases of measles, with a cumulative total of 1,092 cases without any deaths, recorded in 38 localities in 9 states. Moreover, 194 cases of hepatitis were recorded, most of them in West Kassala locality, bringing the nationwide total to 819 cases.
