Practical Action Organization Inspects Projects in Gedaref State
The Acting Executive Director of Al-Fashaga Locality, Mr. Ismail Ahmed Ismail, received a delegation from Practical Action Organization during their field visit to monitor ongoing development projects in eastern Sudan.
This visit falls under the organization’s agricultural and development programs in the Lakdi and Basalam sectors. The tour included field assessments and the delivery of equipment and tools related to dairy production, as well as a veterinary aid kit and a set of essential veterinary medicines.
The organization confirmed that the medicines will be distributed under a revolving medicine system, which will support regular and scheduled treatment days supervised by the General Directorate of Veterinary Services at the state and local levels.
The delegation expressed gratitude for the continued collaboration with local authorities. For his part, Mr. Ismail appreciated the organization’s efforts and reiterated the locality’s commitment to facilitating and supporting the successful implementation of its projects. He also acknowledged Practical Action’s significant role in supporting the agricultural and veterinary sectors in the locality.
