The Sudanese Doctors’ Network reported that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) committed a large-scale massacre in the city of Al-Nuhud, executing more than 100 people, including 21 children and 15 women.
The network strongly condemned and denounced this horrific humanitarian crime, which, according to the statistics received, was carried out by the RSF in Al-Nuhud. The incident represents a blatant violation of all international conventions and human values.
The network also condemned, in the strongest terms, the organized looting of Al-Nuhud Teaching Hospital—a vital lifeline for the local population—and the medical supply warehouse, in addition to the destruction and vandalism of several private pharmacies. These attacks, which were ongoing at the time the statement was issued, have stripped the city of its last healthcare services and left many patients and injured individuals without critical medical care amidst already dire conditions.
The network warned that the death toll may rise due to the continued violence and lack of first aid and essential medicines.
It called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to halt these violations, secure medical aid for the region, and hold accountable all those involved in these crimes that threaten the lives and safety of civilians.
