Kabashi: Measures Underway to Confront the Drone Threat

Member of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief, General Shams al-Din Kabashi, praised the state governors for their efforts during this critical period, highlighting their integral role in complementing the government’s overall endeavors.

Meeting with the governors in Port Sudan, in the presence of several federal ministers, Kabashi noted that the meeting aimed to facilitate a transparent dialogue to discuss the challenges facing the states in meeting citizens’ urgent needs.

He also emphasized the government’s focus on the security front as the key factor in providing services and maintaining social stability under the current national circumstances.

He reassured the Sudanese people that the armed forces remain in excellent condition despite the volatile situation, stating that things are improving and will continue to progress positively with full control and the recovery of every inch of land defiled by the rebel militia.

Kabashi also praised the resilience of the Sudanese people, who have remained steadfast despite targeted attacks and harsh conditions. He stressed that this is the people’s war, given their fundamental role in supporting and backing the army. He added that the “War of Dignity” has corrected national perceptions and created broad consensus, with everyone now fighting alongside the armed forces.

Regarding the strategic drone attacks that pose a threat to vital service facilities, Kabashi revealed that measures are currently being implemented to address this challenge in the near future. He explained that the larger scheme targeting Sudan uses the Rapid Support Forces merely as a tool.
