The Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization (SSMO) branch in Khartoum State, in cooperation with judicial, legal, and executive bodies—namely the Prosecution and Investigations of Supply and Consumer Protection, Economic Security, and Khartoum Cleaning Authority—carried out the destruction of seven tons of spoiled food products. These goods were confiscated by regular inspection teams during their daily campaigns in markets and stores across neighborhoods and villages in Omdurman and Karari localities.
