Good News for Gedaref Residents: Solar Power for Water Sources

Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Moheiddin Naim Mohamed Saeed, announced that water sources in Gedaref State will be powered by solar energy to ensure a stable water supply for the region’s residents.
On Sunday, the minister met with the Governor of Gedaref, Lt. Gen. The meeting also emphasized the importance of renewable energy projects, especially under the current circumstances.
Governor Hassan praised the Ministry of Energy and Oil for its community service efforts, particularly its commitment to sustainable solutions for Gedaref’s water issues and for supplying villages not connected to the national electricity grid with renewable energy, primarily solar power.
