Government: The War is a Full-Scale Aggression Orchestrated and Supported by the UAE

Minister of Culture and Information and official government spokesman, Khalid Al-Ayeser, stated that the city of Port Sudan was attacked by seven drones, which were successfully intercepted by air defenses. He added, “The air defense forces managed to confront and neutralize all of the suicide drones. However, a strategic drone struck one of the warehouses inside the Osman Digna Airbase.”

Al-Ayeser emphasized in a statement that this attack leaves no doubt that the war is not merely a rebellion by the Rapid Support Forces militia, but a full-fledged aggression orchestrated and supported by the United Arab Emirates.

He added that supplying the militia with advanced drones operated from control rooms in Abu Dhabi poses not only a threat to Sudan’s national security, but also a serious danger to regional and international security—one that demands urgent and serious action to confront such violations.
