Relief in Water Supply Crisis in Khartoum Neighborhoods

Khartoum locality has announced the restoration of water supply from the Soba Water Station to several neighborhoods and blocks in southern Khartoum.
The Executive Director of the locality, Abdel Moneim Al-Bashir, affirmed during his visit to Al-Ashra neighborhood that joint efforts between the state and the locality are ongoing to restore water supply to all areas in preparation for the return of residents to their homes. He pointed out that work has begun to operate and drill a number of high-yield wells with notable contributions from philanthropists, to bridge the gap in water supply until all Nile stations are rehabilitated and reactivated.
Furthermore, during his visit to Al-Ashra and the Armored Corps quarters, Al-Bashir emphasized the need for combined official and popular efforts to rehabilitate and clean public facilities, including schools, health centers, and markets.
