Sudan Electricity Company announced that the Port Sudan power substation was targeted by drones on Tuesday morning, resulting in a complete blackout.
In a statement, the company’s Media Coordination Council described the repeated attacks on power stations as systematic, negatively impacting vital services such as water and healthcare.
The statement assured citizens that a technical team of engineers, technicians, and workers is on-site assessing the damage.
