A spokesperson for the senior administration in Zamzam Camp, North Darfur, reported on Sunday the presence of hundreds of unburied corpses in the camp’s streets and homes following its storming by the Rapid Support Forces militia three weeks ago.
Mohamed Khamis Doudah told Sudan Tribune that “hundreds of bodies remain in the roads and homes inside the camp since the attack on April 11.”
He added that the camp’s homes were extensively looted and robbed by individuals and groups from nearby local communities.
