Police Chief Briefed on Security Situation in Red Sea State

Following the systematic acts of sabotage and targeting of vital and strategic sites in Red Sea State, the Director General of the Sudanese Police Forces, First Lieutenant General (Legal) Khalid Hassan Mohi Al-Din, received a detailed briefing on the criminal and security situation in the state. The briefing was delivered by Police Major General Dafallah Taha Ahmed, Director of the Red Sea State Police.

General Hassan was reassured about the significant role played by the state’s police force in carrying out its security, legal, and public service responsibilities. The briefing also reviewed the state’s police plans for securing commercial and service sites as well as key strategic facilities, and their professional and effective management of emergencies, crises, and disasters. This includes implementing evacuation, first aid, and rapid response plans, with extensive participation from all police forces and specialized units trained to handle such incidents.

According to the Police Press Office, the Director General praised the Red Sea State Police’s security plan and directed the provision of all necessary resources to ensure its implementation.
