Sudanese Companies and Institutions Withdraw from the UAE

Sudan Events – Reports

A number of companies and businessmen have announced the suspension of their operations in the United Arab Emirates in response to Sudan’s decision. Among them is the LQ Group, which officially declared in a statement the permanent closure of its regional branch in the UAE and the cessation of all current and future activities there.

The group stated that this decision is a direct response to the fierce and systematic attacks against Sudan, which completely contradict the values of unity, respect, and sovereignty that the company upholds and strives to embody.

The statement emphasized that their primary and ultimate commitment is to the people of Sudan and to their partners who share their vision for growth, dignity, and the preservation of identity.

In its statement, Rihla affirmed the importance of adhering to national sovereignty, respecting the decisions of Sudanese leadership, and fulfilling its national and ethical duty to support the direction of the state.

Additionally, Haidar Holding Group, led by young businessman Haidar Karshoum, announced the suspension of its commercial activities in the UAE in line with the Sudanese government’s decision to cut diplomatic ties and recall its ambassador from there.
