The official spokesperson for the Sudanese Police Forces, Brigadier General Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Tom, announced the resumption of services provided by the General Department of Criminal Investigations to citizens within Khartoum State.
In a press statement, he added that forensic background checks (criminal records) and firearm licensing services are now available to the residents of Khartoum. He affirmed that this step is part of the Police Headquarters’ plan to relocate to Khartoum State, resume operations, and provide all police services to the public.
