The RSF militia intensified its artillery shelling on the city of El Fasher on Tuesday, amid reports of severe civilian casualties.
Local sources indicated that the shelling began heavily on Tuesday and targeted residential neighborhoods in the southern, northern, and central parts of the city. However, they were unable to confirm the full extent of civilian losses caused by the rocket attacks.
Bashar, a resident of El Fasher, told Al-Tara Sudan that the intense artillery bombardment has worsened the humanitarian situation in the city and increased risks to civilians.
He noted that more than 20 people have been killed in El Fasher so far this month due to the shelling, which has struck homes and small markets.
