New Phase to Restore Services by Activating Financial Revenues in Khartoum

Khartoum State has begun preparations for a new phase to respond to the reopening and the restoration of services. Today, Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza held an expanded meeting attended by the Secretary-General of the state government, Al-Hadi Abdul-Sayed Ibrahim, along with directors-general of ministries, high councils, executive directors of localities, and heads of state-affiliated agencies.

The meeting discussed a financial revenue report presented by the Director General of the Ministry of Finance and the Director of the Unified Collection Authority for the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

The governor emphasized that the upcoming stage requires activating revenue collection to meet the challenges associated with maintaining continuous public services, especially with the return of citizens.

He also urged localities to activate administrative units to monitor services in residential neighborhoods and called on ministries and localities to develop a clear vision to increase revenues.
