
Lieutenant General Abdul Khair Abdullah Nasser Darjam, commander of the Wadi Sidna military region, reassured the Sudanese people that the armed forces are operating with strong stability and full coordination with all supporting forces. He confirmed that they are now at their strongest state and that their morale is high. He stated that the armed forces are currently advancing toward their major objectives.
General Darjam added that the armed forces are on the outskirts of Al-Dabeibat after achieving victories in Al-Khwei city in West Kordofan state.
In a briefing to a delegation from the Ministry of Industry, headed by Minister Mohasin Ali Yaqoub, the Wadi Sidna commander said, “The war was imposed on us, and we had no choice but to fight and confront the aggression.” He confirmed that victory, though slightly delayed, is inevitable and added, “We have no doubt whatsoever about the armed forces’ victory.”
The Wadi Sidna commander received a convoy of support and assistance for the armed forces from the industrial sector at the military college headquarters in Wadi Sidna, praising the initiative and considering the visit and delivery of the convoy as the best support for the armed forces.
In press statements, he explained that most central states have been cleansed and said, “Now our forces are steadily advancing toward the western states,” affirming that the armed forces have pledged to deliver the country free of Janjaweed thugs. He said they are capable of delivering the entire country free of rebellion and securing it up to the borders with countries that supported the rebellion, confirming that the borders will be safe.
He explained that after cleansing the country from the filth of rebellion, there will be further work regarding collaborators and supporters of the rebel militias, saying, “We promise the people that,” and hinted that the signs of peace have begun to appear on the horizon.
Regarding the field situation in Khartoum state, he said what remains there is a stray group that does not know what it is doing and is heading towards suicide, affirming that eliminating them is a settled matter that will happen soon.
He said, “We are honored in Wadi Sidna to arrange and manage all movements that led to the liberation of areas in Khartoum, Gezira, and Sennar states,” adding, “Now we are moving to prepare forces for Darfur areas,” and added, “We had no choice but to fight to save the country, and our pledge remains that the homeland will only be attained over our bodies.”
