The Sudanese Doctors Network announced that nine civilians, including three children from the same family, were injured as a result of a drone strike launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the Dar Al-Salam area of Umbadda, west of Omdurman. The injured were transferred to receive necessary medical care.
In a statement, the network condemned what it described as the ongoing targeting of civilians and civilian facilities in the city of Omdurman, which has resulted in dozens of casualties in recent weeks.
The network called on the RSF to stop what it described as continuous violations against civilians, pointing out the ongoing siege on the city of El Fasher in North Darfur State, along with heavy artillery shelling that killed more than 30 people last week. The network also reported repeated shelling targeting the cities of El Obeid and Omdurman.
