Standards Authority Announces Availability of New Inspection Devices
Rahba Saeed Abdullah, Director General of the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Organization, announced the availability of new portable devices for rapid testing of samples of goods and products, enhancing regulatory oversight.
She expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the inspectors for their patience and dedication during the past period, which was extremely challenging for the country and the Authority. Addressing the staff, she said, “You have met the challenge and responsibility with courage and acted like fighters on the battlefield, giving your utmost to fulfill your professional duties.”
Rahba affirmed that the Authority’s management fully recognizes the critical role of training and capacity building and strongly believes that investment in human resources is the key to the Authority’s success.
While attending the closing ceremony of a training course on industrial and service inspections, and inspections of export and import goods — organized by the Human Resource Development Unit as part of the first quarter plan for this year — she stressed the importance of training and capacity building in the success of the Authority.
